Andres Bastidas

Andres Bastidas (shown with Ian Callum) is one of the most promising young designers in  the world today. He is from Cali, Colombia, far from the center of the automotive industry. Despite this, he has made enormous strides in his career. He racked up first place in Lawrence Technological University's "Designing for the Future" competition. Andres will likely be entering LTU in the August 2015. He will bring with him talents in 3d modeling, sculpting, and Photoshop, skills that are usually developed in college. We look forward to seeing where his career leads.

Joshua Blundo

Meet Joshua Blundo. You may as well start memorizing that name now. He will be a major player in the automotive design world in just a few short years. Joshua is just a Senior in high school and already possesses skills that would make some professionals nervous. While he claims to be more of a hands-on sketcher, we can see that he does some pretty nifty work with Photoshop as well. How talented is Joshua? Well, lets put it plain and simple...He is the top young designer in the world right now. That is, unless someone else is hiding in the skunkworks. Speaking to Joshua, he seems to carry himself differently than other young designers. He is immensely confident and seems to blend in with top designers like Mark Trostle. Somehow, I get the sense that Joshua is out for blood. He is quoted to say that he "hates Toyota" in several interviews, and says that he will only work for American automotive companies. It's a good thing too, Ford and FCA are his top picks, and either one should be lucky to have him. Frankly, I'm a little nervous for Toyota. I'd say we should keep him as a secret weapon, but unfortunately, I think the cat's out of the bag on this one. Nonetheless, I'm sure he will be a huge threat after graduation.
